35mm film is timeless.
This is the most honest form of capturing action. It will bring an unparalleled sense of authenticity and a dynamic feel to the piece. This format evokes organic tones and a cinematic look that is perfect for this story. Through film, we can highlight a look that uses radiant sunlight, rich colours, and low contrast. We will focus on creating a natural feel where we primarily use natural light and set up scenes in a way that captures what is unfolding in front of us rather than forcing the action. 35mm film will help us achieve a portrait of the time we live in, a real representation of now. Once scanned digitally, 35mm is just as flexible to work with as any other format, leaving room for adjustments in post. The moments we capture on this shoot are locked into our history with 35mm but can also be revisited time and time again.
